Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice Surya Kant arrived to participate in a program. During this, he suggested measures to the judges to avoid stress in front of the media. While presenting his views, he also gave tips regarding health to all the judges. Apart from being a workaholic, he has appealed to spend time in entertainment activities.
He said at an event on Saturday that the work of judges is extremely stressful along with long hours, for which they should participate in recreational activities to keep themselves energetic during breaks.
Inauguration of All India Judge Badminton Championship
Chief Justice Surya Kant had reached the inaugural ceremony of ‘All India Judges Badminton Championship’. Where he expressed his views in front of the media. The CJI said that judges should participate in entertainment activities according to their age, this can avoid stress.
He further said, ‘Judges have long working hours and the nature of their work is very stressful. Sitting hours are also long. All judges should take part in some recreational activity and make it their habit. “They need entertainment to refresh themselves.”
“Judges are health conscious”
CJI Kant said, ‘High Court judges are participating in this function in large numbers. This shows that they are conscious about their health and well-being.
Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Supreme Court judges were present in this ceremony. This two-day championship has been organized here at Tyagaraja Sports Complex. The closing and prize distribution ceremony will be presided over by former Chief Justice BR Gavai and Justice Vikram Nath on Sunday. Former international badminton player Abantika has organized this program.
