After the one-sided results in favor of NDA in Bihar, the efforts to form the government have now intensified. Janata Dal United working president Sanjay Jha and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh have met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. It is believed that this meeting may take place regarding the division of the Chief Minister and other departments. After meeting Sanjay Jha and Lalan, JP Nadda has also reached to meet Amit Shah.
Earlier, Bihar election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and co-in-charge Vinod Tawde have met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In this meeting, important discussions were held on review of election results and outline of government formation. It is believed that the complete strategy for swearing in will be prepared before November 22.
Nitish Kumar has not resigned yet
Current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has not formally submitted his resignation to the Governor. After his resignation, the formal process of forming the government can begin. PM Modi will participate in the swearing-in ceremony, the final date of swearing-in will be decided keeping in mind his availability. Before this, administrative turmoil has increased in Patna. BJP and JDU have instructed their MLAs to reach Patna.
It is reported quoting sources that the political calendar of next week is considered to be fixed. There will be meetings of JDU, BJP, HAM and RLM legislature parties. There will be discussion on choosing leaders and new equations. Among these, a joint meeting of the NDA legislature party is to be held at the Chief Minister’s residence. It is believed that Nitish will be elected the leader.
NDA gets huge majority
This time in Bihar elections 2025, BJP has emerged as the largest party. BJP has got 89 seats and its allies have got 85 seats. Both the parties had fielded their candidates on 101-101 seats. The grand alliance was a complete flop. While RJD got 25 seats, Congress was limited to 6 seats.
