A shocking revelation has come to light in the joint investigation of Mumbai Crime Branch and Delhi Special Cell. Two brothers, Akhtar Hussaini Qutubuddin Ahmed and Adil Hussaini, have been arrested, who conspired to illegally sell Lithium-6 based nuclear fusion reactor technology by posing as BARC scientists.
Sources said that both the accused are residents of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Using fake degrees, they presented themselves as nuclear scientists and both tried to sell the technology on the international gray market and even tried to present it to scientific panels associated with the Iranian government.
Use of virtual networks and encrypted channels
Investigation by Mumbai Crime Branch and Delhi Special Cell revealed that the two brothers contacted scientific platforms and foreign research groups using virtual networks and encrypted channels. He shared the design, blueprints and simulation code of the Lithium-6 based fusion reactor and claimed that it is a technological breakthrough in “nuclear fusion energy”. Sources further claimed that both of them visited Iranian embassies in Iran, Dubai and India several times, where they also presented their fake reactor designs.

An official said that during interrogation, both of them confessed that they had created a “Lithium-6 based fusion reactor prototype” and presented it as Plasma Wall Interaction Control and Self-Regulated Energy Management System, but upon investigation by experts, they found that this entire model was only theoretical and there was no experimental or scientific proof of it.
Design prepared in difficult scientific language
According to experts, this design was prepared in difficult scientific language, so that it looks real and the person in front can be confused. In this, an attempt was made to increase its credibility by using words like neutron absorption, tritium breeding, plasma thermodynamics. The investigation report also revealed that the two brothers had held online meetings with Iranian government scientific panels and had proposed to sell them this technology. He had claimed that his reactor model could also work on Lithium-7 based fusion technology, but the experiment failed due to plasma failure.
Iran’s experts rejected the claim
An official associated with the case said that Iranian experts rejected this claim and said that it is unbelievable due to plasma anomaly and scientific baselessness. After consultation with BARC and other nuclear experts, the agencies confirmed that no authorized institution in the world has yet been able to develop such high-end reactor technology. Both the accused tried to mislead foreign agencies by deliberately misusing scientific terms so that they could benefit.
