Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the list of its star campaigners for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. This list includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and party president J.P. Names of veteran national level leaders like Nadda are included.
Also, this time the party has also included the famous Bhojpuri cinema actor and singer Pawan Singh in the list of star campaigners, which clearly indicates that the party is also considering the emotional and cultural connect with the voters as important.
CMs of these states will also become campaign faces
Many Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, MPs, MLAs and regional leaders are included in this list of BJP. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi will remain the main face, popular leaders like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav are also present in this list.
Apart from this, the party has nominated Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Giriraj Singh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, C.R. Experienced faces like Patil, Nityanand Rai, Radha Mohan Singh and Ashwini Kumar Choubey have also been included in the list of star campaigners. Raj Bhushan Chaudhary, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Vinod Tawde, Babulal Marandi, Pradeep Kumar Singh, Gopal Ji Thakur, Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal and Janak Ram have also been included in the list.
Local leaders and actors of Bihar also included
Many local and regional leaders of Bihar like Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Renu Devi, Dr. Prem Kumar, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Satish Chandra Dubey, Nand Kishore Yadav and Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal have also got a place in it.
This time BJP has also given special place to the artists associated with Bhojpuri cinema. Apart from Pawan Singh, popular stars like Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ will also be fielded for promotion. These artists have a wide fan base in Bihar, which can prove beneficial for BJP.
Bihar assembly elections will be held in two phases
Political analysts believe that through this list, BJP has played a strong bet at all three levels – caste equation, regional influence and cultural affiliation. Now it remains to be seen how much this star power translates into votes. Assembly elections in Bihar will be held in two phases on 6th and 11th November, while the counting of votes will be done on 14th November.
