According to the report of ‘Hindustan Times’, advocate Rakesh Kishore said, “A divine power asked me to do so. It would have been good that I would have gone to jail, my family is not happy with this work of mine. They are unable to understand. ”Rakesh Kishore said that he has no regrets of his act.
Bar Council suspended Rakesh Kishore
Bar Council of India (BCI), Chief Justice of India (CJI) B.K. R. Rakesh Kishore, accused in the case of allegedly attempting to throw shoe to Gawai, was suspended on Monday with immediate effect. The incident took place at around 11:35 am on Monday (October 6). 71 -year -old lawyer Rakesh Kishore tried to throw a shoe at Chief Justice Gawai. Security personnel immediately took the accused lawyer into custody.
The interim suspension order issued by BCI President and Senior Advocate Manan Kumar Mishra states that this conduct of the accused is contrary to the dignity of the court and the code of conduct of the advocates and the laws of the Advocates Act, 1961 are clearly violated.
Rakesh Kishore will not be able to appear in any court
The BCI also said that during the period of suspension, the accused lawyers will not be able to appear in any court, authority or tribunal and disciplinary action will be initiated against them.
