In Jodhpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave many gifts of development to Rajasthan on Thursday (September 25, 2025) through virtual medium from Banswara. The Prime Minister flagged off the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt, Bikaner-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express and Udaipur-Chandigarh train through video conferencing.
A grand program was organized on the occasion at Jodhpur railway station, in which Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendrasinh Shekhawat, Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot, Pali MP PP Chaudhary, MLA Devendra Joshi and many public representatives, railway officials and public were present.
Rajasthan gifts 3 new trains
Addressing Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Rajasthan has got the gift of three new trains simultaneously today. Especially the long -standing demand of Jodhpur and Bikaner has been fulfilled. Now modern semi -high speed trains like Vande Bharat will operate directly from here to Delhi Cantt.
He informed that from today, a big step has also been taken towards environmental protection in the railway. Seeing a clay made of clay during Pali stay in the morning, it was decided that now tea will be served in railway stations and trains including Pali and Jodhpur. This initiative is also beneficial for being environmentally friendly as well as healthy terms.
New direction to modernization of trains
Addressing the function, Union Minister Gajendrasinh Shekhawat said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country is moving forward on the development path. Railway Minister Vaishnav has given a new direction to modernization of railways. The country has now entered the era of electric and high speed trains with coal and diesel based trains.

In the program, school children gave colorful performances and presented beautiful glimpses of Rajasthani folk songs.
