‘Manipur has a gem in the name of Manipur, who will take the brightness of the entire North East’, after the violence, reached Churachandpur for the first time and said PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Churachandpur in Manipur and met people affected by violence there. He gave the message of peace, development and trust in the state. At the same time, the Government of India also highlighted the efforts being made for the social and economic development of Manipur. The Prime Minister said that now every citizen of Manipur is moving forward on the path of development and this state is becoming a new example of hope.

In Churachandpur, the PM also emphasized new employment opportunities for the youth of Manipur. He said that it is the effort of the government to feel the benefit of development of every citizen of Manipur. He also said that Manipur’s name is ‘Mani’, which will increase the brightness of the entire North East region.

PM Modi appealed for peace
Prime Minister Modi said that violence in Manipur had affected the area, but now all the communities are moving forward on the path of peace. He appealed to all organizations and groups to proceed with social harmony and mutual understanding. Agreements have also been reached between many groups. The Prime Minister assured that the Government of India and the Manipur government are working together to settle the displaced people at the appropriate place. PM Modi inaugurated several projects as a gift of development projects worth Rs 8,500 crore to the people of Manipur.

Referring to problems like medical college, adequate electricity, road and shortage of railway in Manipur, PM Modi said that the situation has now changed completely. He said that Manipur is developing fast and development works are being done in every corner of the state.

The PM said, “We are satisfied that recently there have been talks for agreements with different organizations in Hills and Valley. It is part of the efforts of the Government of India, in which work is being done to establish peace by giving importance to dialogue, respect and mutual understanding. I will appeal to all organizations to fulfill my dreams on the path of peace. I am with you, the Indian government is with you, the Indian government is with the people of Manipur.”

Start new projects
The Prime Minister said that a new Imphal Airport has been built at a cost of Rs 400 crore. Railway network is developing in Manipur. Also, roads are being transported to the villages so that every citizen can get smooth contact. Prime Minister Modi said that he felt the love and adoption of the people while traveling from the road. He said that he respects the people of Manipur and will always stand with them.
