Rambhadracharya is on the target of everyone these days due to the statements given about Premanand Maharaj and other saints. Speaking to news agency ANI on Tuesday (August 26, 2025), Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati made serious allegations against him. He said that you are calling the person who kills the cow as your friend, how should we accept you Dharmacharya.
Taking a dig at Rambhadracharya, Avimukteshwaranand said that you say that I have read the scriptures, but it is written in the scriptures that whoever is disabled does not have the right to retire, even after that you are walking in front of people with punishment. How are you roaming as a monk in protest against the scriptures.
Avimukteshwarananda told, who opposed Rambhadracharya
He said that you oppose Tulsi Das ji, oppose Ramanandacharya ji. Adi Shankaracharya and you comment against the Shankaracharya of the four benches, you are also opposed to the Upanishads.
Rambhadracharya accused of doing politics
Jagadguru Shankaracharya accused Rambhadracharya of doing politics. He said that this person only praises himself with his own mouth by taking big awards with political connivance. Giving the example of Tulsidas ji, he said that despite being such a great knowledge, he never praised himself, who is a coward, he praises himself.
Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati gave open challenge
He further said that we have had to speak about (Rambhadracharya). He further said that you say that you remember one and a half million pages, put them in front of us, we will ask only 150 questions from that, if you tell, we will cheer you.
