Family Court Judge: Porn question from woman in family court, High Court ordered the transfer of judge, know the whole matter

The Kerala High Court has ordered a transfer of a judge of the Family Court regarding pornographic comments against women. The Judge of Chavara Family Court, Udayakumar V, was transferred to the Kollam Motor Accident Claims Tribunal for objectionable behavior with women.

According to a report by the Bar and Bench, the woman wrote a letter to the Chief District Judge of Kollam and made serious allegations against the judge. The woman said that during counseling, judges sexually abuse women and make obscene comments. According to the information, Judge Prasanna Gopalan of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in Kollam has been transferred to the Family Court.

High court ordered inquiry in the case
The District Court Registrar has issued an order for mutual transfer of both. The Administrative Committee of the High Court has also ordered an inquiry into the matter. The court can also take further action on the basis of the report. Family problems are resolved in the family court. It has been established under the Family Court Act of 1984. Family court work has to be settled in cases related to family discord, marriage and divorce.

Which cases are heard in family court
Before the establishment of the family court, domestic matters were also brought in the district court itself. Family courts were set up in view of the burden on courts and delay in hearing. Inheritance and adoption of child are also dealt with in the family court itself. It is sent for mediation only when the problem is not resolved in the family court. The case is transferred to the upper court even if the solution is not resolved.
