On Thursday (July 31, 2025) in the 2008 blast case in Malegaon, Maharashtra, the Special Court verdict of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has come, in which all the 7 accused, including Sadhvi Pragya, have been acquitted. Statements of leaders have started coming regarding this decision. If someone is supporting this decision, then many are calling it injustice to the victims.
The recommendation of former BJP leader and MLA from Goshamahal seat in Hyderabad has also come out regarding this decision of the court. He said in his statement that today again the anti -Hindu face of Congress has come in front of the country. All the saffronmen who were implicated in the 2008 Malegaon blast have been acquitted today. He further said that today religion has won and the saffronis have also won.
The families of the NIA have expressed deep displeasure over this decision of the Special Court. Advocate Shahid Nadeem, the lawyer of the victims in the Malegaon blast case, said that the bomb blast has also been confirmed by the court. We will challenge the decision to acquit in the High Court. He further said that we will file an appeal against it independently.
Know what was the whole matter?
Actually, there was a bomb blast in Malegaon, Nashik (September 29, 2008), in which 6 people lost their lives. More than 100 people were also injured due to the blast. Please tell that this bomb blast took place when people were going to offer Namaz. A day after the bomb blast, a case was registered under several sections at Azad Nagar police station in Malegaon on 30 September 2008.
