Indo-US pair will create history, the attitude to see the earth will change, know the full story of NISAR Mission

You must have often heard that scientists are trying to understand our earth, but have you thought how this happens? Now India and America are going to do such a wonderful job, which will see every action of our earth very closely. The name of this special mission is NISAR.

This mission, which is in partnership between NASA and ISRO, will monitor every action of the earth from space. Nisar i.e. Nasa-Isro Syntic Aperture Radar Mission is the first such satellite, which is prepared by ISRO and NASA. Its purpose is to monitor the changes on the surface of the earth, that too with the help of high technology.

Salelite made of two different radar technology

This is not a common satellite, but it has been prepared by ISRO of India and NASA of America. The special thing is that for the first time such a satellite has been built in the world, in which two different radar technology (L-band and S-band) have been installed together. To take a picture of the earth, now it works like a satellite microwave, that is, it can feel the earth inside, not just from outside. This technique works on day or night, rain or sunshine, under all circumstances.

It has two bands, the L-band radar of the NASA, which can peep inside the ground and the S-band radar of ISRO, which can catch small changes on the surface. Together, the two send very clean, depth and accurate information, that is, this satellite has become a 360 degree scanner in our earth, which is ready to catch every change.

India’s powerful rocket will take space

India is playing a very important role in this mission. NISAR will be taken by India’s powerful rocket GSLV-F16 in space. The special thing is that for the first time GSLV will deliver a satellite to Sun-Synchronous Orbit. This launching will be held on 30 July 2025 at 5:40 pm, Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota.

How to launch NISAR?

GSLV-F16 is a three-phase rocket. When the launch starts, the main engine of the rocket and four boosters will burn together and the rocket will rise up. As the fuel ends during the flight, parts of the rocket will be separated one by one.

The upper part of the rocket (payload fairing) will be removed at about 3 minutes, which will make the Nisar satellite appear openly. Then the last ie cryogenic stage will burn the rocket to its fixed height. After about 18 minutes 35 seconds, the Nisar will separate from the satellite rocket and reach the sun-tuberculosis of 747 km height. From there, he will scan the surface of the entire earth every 12 days.

What will Nisar do and how will it help?

Nisar is a satellite catching small changes on the surface of the earth. This will give us information about many essential things, such as the amount of trees and changes in the forests, how much increase or decrease in the crops of crops, the movement of mountains, earthquakes, volcanoes, volcanoes, landslides and land rising will monitor the incident.

Apart from this, monitoring of the shores, identification of storms and sea ice, soil moisture, surface water resources and time of disaster. This mission of NASA -Israo will take India forward in the world in dealing with natural disasters and understanding climate change. This is India’s big step towards fighting climate change.
