A tragic road accident in Medak district of Telangana turned the happiness of birthday into mourning. Four youths had rented the Artiga car to attend a friend’s birthday celebrations. After drinking alcohol in the party, his high speed car collided with an electric pole. The accident was so terrible that the pillar broke and the car overturned. In this accident, 18 -year -old Jashwant died on the spot, while the other three youths were seriously injured.
According to the police, all the youths were under 20 years of age. The accident occurred near the Medalmama Temple on Narasapur-Hyderabad Road. Superintendent of Police D. Uday Kumar Reddy said, ‘This accident occurred due to high speed and drunk drunk. The injured were immediately admitted to the government hospital in Narasapur, where their condition remains critical. The police have registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
People came to help after hearing a loud voice
Local resident Ramesh Kumar said, ‘We heard a loud voice and saw outside, the car was overturned. We immediately informed the police and helped to remove the injured. This is very sad. Medak District Collector Rahul Raj has given instructions for better treatment of the injured.
Telangana CM expressed disappointment
Expressing grief over the accident, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said, ‘It is sad for young lives to go like this. We will help all possible to treat the injured. This accident reminds us of road safety and dangers of driving driving. The police have appealed to the people to follow traffic rules and safe driving.
