Parliament Masjid dispute: ‘Use being used as private property’, this Muslim leader made great demand from Om Birla

BJP Minority Front president Jamal Siddiqui has written a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. He has written a letter demanding the removal of the Imam of Parliament House Mosque and Muhibullah Nadvi, the MP of the Samajwadi Party.

Jamal Siddiqui has demanded through a letter from Om Birla that according to my knowledge, this post can be considered as a post of profit under Article 102 (1) (a) of the Constitution of India, as it is financed by a statutory body under the Delhi government and is not exempted under Parliament (Disability Prevention) Act, 1959.

Demand to start a process of disqualification

Jamal Siddiqui said that as is clear in the Constitution and Parliamentary Rules, no MP can hold a position that becomes the basis of disqualification. Therefore, I request you that this post is found to be the post of profit, then start the process of disqualification according to the Constitution and Lok Sabha rules.

Use of mosque as private property

He has demanded from CM Rekha Gupta that SP MP Mulibullah Nadvi is using this mosque as his personal property and works to promote the ideology of Samajwadi Party, which cannot be done as an Imam. You are requested to remove Imam Muhibullah Nadvi with immediate effect and a good person should be appointed as Imam in Parliament Mosque on behalf of Delhi Waqf Board.

SP chief held a meeting in the mosque

Let us know that the entire case has started after a picture shared by SP MP Dharmendra Yadav. This picture is of the mosque located on Parliament Street. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had a meeting with his party MPs in this mosque. The entire controversy started only after this meeting. SP MP from Rampur Mulibullah Nadvi is also the Imam of this mosque. Jamal Siddiqui has also raised the issue of SP MP Dimple Yadav going into it.
