The police have arrested another youth in the case of posting pornographic and objectionable videos of women on public places in Bangalore. This time the arrested accused has been identified as 19 -year -old MD Dilawar Hussain, who is originally a resident of Imphal in Manipur. Earlier on July 9, a young man named Gurdeep Singh was arrested in a similar case.
MD Dilawar Hussain was working as a food delivery boy in Bengaluru. According to the police, the accused created an Instagram account named “Dilbar Jani-07” and posted 15–20 porn videos with the tag “Bangalore Night Life”. In these videos, women were shown pornographic and sexually objectionable. Along with this, he also added such videos with songs of many Bengali and other languages.
What did the Bangalore police tell?
Police investigation has revealed that Dilawar did not shoot these videos himself, but downloaded from many social media accounts and websites and posted them on his Instagram profile, so that more followers and views can be collected. In some videos, women were deliberately filmed improperly, whose purpose was to humiliate them and spread pornography.
The Bengaluru Central Cybercrime Police started investigating the matter after receiving a complaint. Investigation revealed that the Instagram account who uploaded the video was being run in the name of Dilbar Jani-07. The police arrested the accused’s IP address and arrested him from his house. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 67 of the IT Act-20000. The police has spoken of strict action on any such content that hurts the dignity of women on social media.
