The body of the missing youth Mahesh was found in Krishna river on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) in a road accident on the Jurala project located in Gadwal district of Telangana on Wednesday (July 23, 2025). On the evening of Sunday, 20 July, 21 -year -old Mahesh of Budidapadu village of Manavapadu division went to visit Jurala Dam with three of his friends.
Around 7:30 pm, when he was going towards Gadwal on Dam Bridge, a man coming from Karnataka was driving his car carelessly and he hit the bike. In an attempt to avoid this, Mahesh fell down from the dam and went missing.
Dead body found after three days of discovery
After the incident, a team of police and divers under the leadership of SI Srihari of Darur Police Station started searching for Mahesh. After three days of discovery, on Wednesday (July 23, 2025), fishermen found an unknown body in the Krishna River near Moolmalla village in Autophagur Mandal. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and the body was identified as Mahesh.
Mahesh’s friend seriously injured
In this accident, a friend of Mahesh, Janakiramulu, was seriously injured, who has been admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad. The other two friends survived safely in the accident. The police have registered a case against the car driver and the investigation is on. The local administration has appealed to the people to take precautions in the dam area and follow the safety rules.
