A 23 -year -old Indian student Charanpreet Singh has come to light in Australia’s Adelaide city. The attack allegedly took place at around 9:22 pm on Saturday, 19 July when he went out to see the city’s light display with his wife. As soon as both were parking their cars, a gang of five people surrounded them and brutally attacked them.
According to a report by India Tude, the attackers attacked another vehicle and suddenly attacked. The attackers had pointed things in their hands. It is clearly visible in the video that went viral on social media that the attackers are kicking and kicking on Charanpreet, shouting racial abuses. After the attack, Charanpreet fainted on the road. He has suffered serious head injuries and many bones of the face have broken. After being admitted to a hospital in Adelaide, he told 9news that the incident first looked like a parking dispute, but soon it became an open racial attack.
Police arrested an attacker
Police arrested a 20 -year -old attacker in this case from the Enfield area. The rest of the accused are still absconding. The police have appealed to the common people for help and the CCTV footage of the scene is being investigated.

After this attack, there has been a huge outrage among the Indian community in Australia. People have emerged in support of Charanpreet on social media and are demanding to ensure the safety of international students.
What did the Chief Minister of South Australia say?
South Australia Chief Minister Peter Malinoskus strongly condemned the attack, saying, “Any proof of racial attack is unacceptable in our state and it is completely opposite to our society’s thinking.”
