Apache Combat Helicopter: Increase in strength of Indian Army, America’s Apache Attack Helicopter will be posted in Jodhpur

The Indian Army is going to receive a consignment of 3 Apache Combet Helicopters (AH-64E) from American company Boeing amidst statements of US President Donald Trump on Operation Sindoor. The Apache helicopter is expected to reach Hindon Airbase on Monday (July 21, 2025). These Apache helicopters will be posted at the Indian Army’s aviation core in Jodhpur.

For the first time, the Indian Army is getting a consignment of Apache helicopter. The Indian Air Force already has 22 Apache helicopters, who have been deployed in Pathankot (Punjab) and Jorhat (Assam). However, the Indian Army (Army) operates indigenous Rudra helicopter.

Deal with America for so many million dollars

In 2020, the Ministry of Defense signed a deal to buy 6 Apache helicopters from the US for the Army. The total price of this deal was $ 800 million (about 7000 thousand crore rupees). According to the deal, in the year 2024, the army was supposed to deliver this US attack helicopter, but the deal is going on late by about 15 months. According to the information, delivery of the remaining three helicopters is also expected to be received this year.

The delivery of arms and military equipment from the US is going on delayed from the US due to the statements of the trump on Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and then Operation Sindoor, but this month the Aviation engine has been delivered from the US for Tejas fighter jet project and now the Apache helicopters are going to come.

Ready to kill terrorists

The Apache helicopter is used to enter into the enemy’s border and attack. Also, in the battlefield, enemy tanks, armored vehicles and military vehicles are done to attack. Even in the hilly areas, these helicopters are used to kill terrorists hidden in enemy posts and caves.

1. Longbo radar: This radar system can track 128 goals simultaneously and attack 16 goals in a few seconds.

2. Helphier missile: It is capable of destroying armored vehicles such as missile tanks.

3. Air-to-ground rocket: These rockets help target the goals on the ground.

4. Chain Gun: 30 mm-M 230 cannon can shoot at high speed, which is useful in near war.
