Cpim on rahul gandhi: The India alliance had a virtual meeting on Saturday, in which opposition parties discussed several important issues before the monsoon session of Parliament and made a common strategy. 24 political parties participated in this meeting. In the meeting, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks were the most discussed topic, in which he compared the CPI -M (CPIM) to the RSS in Kerala. The left parties objected to this.
Left parties objection to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks
Even though the name of Rahul Gandhi was not directly taken in the meeting, CPI General Secretary D. Raja expressed resentment over this statement. He said that when the India alliance started, our slogan was – ‘Save the country, remove BJP.’ In such a situation, such a statement should not come against any ally that creates tension in mutual relationships. He said that it is absolutely wrong to compare Left to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Apart from this, according to another information from sources, in the meeting, Rahul Gandhi said that the ruling party can take advantage of the opposition scatter, so we have to remain united and question the government and take answers from the Prime Minister. We should first look united in Parliament by deciding the priority of issues.
What did Rahul Gandhi say?
Rahul Gandhi recently said during an event in Kerala that “both CPIM and RSS lacks sensitivity towards the public.” This statement caused dissatisfaction among the Left leaders, because in Kerala, Congress and Left parties do politics of face to face.
Opposition rally plan against SIR policy
Policies related to ‘Special Industrial Area’ (SIR) were also discussed in the meeting. According to sources, the opposition is planning to oppose these policies and organize a big public rally against the central government’s economic policy.
This rally will be a demonstration of opposition unity and will pressurize the government regarding the interests of farmers, workers and general public.
Jairam Ramesh gave information
Giving information about the meeting, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh said that this is the first coordinated meeting of India alliance after several weeks. 24 political parties participated in it and issues to be raised in the Parliament session were considered.
Trying to give a message of unity
Although some differences have come to light, the opposition parties have tried to convey the message of solidarity before the monsoon session. All parties agreed that the policies of BJP and Central Government can only be faced together.
