Hindi news article: Threemar Malna’s office attacked in Telangana, Gunman fired aerial firing

Telangana Jagriti activists attacked the office of Teenmar Malana located in Pirjadiguda under Medipalli police station in Medchal district of Telangana on Sunday (July 13, 2025). The attack was allegedly carried out by MLC Teenmar Malna in protest against the objectionable comments made on BRS MLC and Chairman Kavita of Telangana Jagriti.

The attackers entered the office and broke the glass of furniture, computer and windows. To control the situation, Malna’s gunman fired five rounds in the air. The police have started investigating the incident and CCTV footage is being investigated to identify the attackers.

BRS leaders and Jagriti workers responsible

Malna has blamed BRS leaders and Jagriti workers for this attack. He said that this attack is an attempt to suppress his journalism and social work. Malna also alleged that even during the time of BRS government, his office has been attacked four times, but the police did not take any concrete action.

Threat to democracy and freedom of expression

Local journalist organizations and social organizations have strongly condemned the attack. He says that the attack on media institutions is a threat to democracy and freedom of expression. Malna said that he is not afraid of such attacks and will continue to bring out the truth.

Police arrested suspects involved in attack

Police have detained some suspects involved in the attack and interrogation is on. Malna has demanded strict action from the government in this matter. Also, Telangana Jagriti described Malana’s comments against the BC community and said that this attack was a result of his opposition. This incident has further increased political and social stress in Telangana. The police has increased security in the area and is monitoring the situation.
