There are many bridge accidents in the country so far
The bridge over the Mahisagar river in Vadodara, Gujarat had fallen. So far 18 people have died in the accident. This bridge was about 43 years old. It was built in 1985. After the bridge fell, many vehicles also fell into the river. Earlier, a bridge fell in Saharsa, Bihar. The case is of June 2024. No casualties were reported in the Pama village bridge accident. In July 2024, the bridge over the Gandaki river fell.
There was a big bridge accident in Morbi too
A major bridge accident has also taken place in Morbi between Gujarat. In October 2022, 135 people died after the breakdown of Morbi Cable Bridge. It is one of the biggest bridges of the country.
