The judge said that the number of women judges being recruited in the district judiciary is higher than men and the average is probably between 40 percent to 70 percent.

Justice gave emphasis on the need for gender sensitivity

He said, & lsquo; & lsquo; In fact, I sometimes jokingly said that as far as the district judiciary is concerned, the male species is going to disappear from the Indian judiciary. Emphasizing the need for gender sensitivity, he said that people have to remind that some acts are prohibited and cannot be tolerated.
